jazz needs to follow me

i love jazz. if i could have a soundtrack for my life, it would half jazz and half third eye blind. in fact, i wish everywhere i went, everything i did, there was jazz in the background. just playing constantly. it makes things so much more elegant and lovely and warm. i LOVE it! i am currently listening to 'jazz for a rainy day'. cause it's effing pouring. and yesterday it was tony bennett. but i will have to concede that my favorite is my better homes & gardens jazz cd. it was like 9 bucks at wal-mart.

speaking of bucks. did you know that the american equivalent of 'bucks' in reference to dollars is 'quid' in britain? like... if something costs 5 pounds sterling, you'd say it cost 5 quid. betcha didnt know that! i have a lovely, finely pressed 10 pound bill in my wallet (which is Ness brand, that i bought in Edinburgh on the Royal Mile, which was NOT cheap). american money is boring as fuck compared to British Pounds or Euros. i love their colorful bills! like the British 10 pound i have has Darwin and a hummingbird on it.

and that jazz CD from Wal-Mart is called Chardonnay. haha.

"Scots, we hae wi' Wallace bled..."

that's the opening line of the declaration of Arbroath by Robert the Bruce. I've been to his grave in Dunfermline, Scotland. legendary.

give your Daddy a hug tomorrow!

i just wrote like this huge paragraph and the damn computer deleted it. goddammit.
